International Go game tournament

We invite businessmen and players to participate in the International Go Cup of the V Eastern Economic Forum. It is official sport event in the forum program. Only accredited delegates of the V Eastern Economic Forum are allowed to participate. The anniversary V Eastern Economic Forum is going to be the largest one. This year’s main guest is India.
The Tournament, same as last year, is going to take place on the embankment of the Ajax bay on Russky Island in the tent of GO pavilion at the «Far East Street» exhibition. This year there will be many bright events at the bay and not only can you play Go but also you can meet and communicate with delegates of the Eastern Economic Forum from different countries, and also watch the sailing regatta and on-water performances.
Russian participants will gather from the regions of Russian Far East. We expect players from Amur Region, Republic of Buryatia, Jewish Autonomous Region, Magadan Region, Primorsky Territory, Sakhalin, Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Khabarovsk Territory
Event managers provide with accreditation of “green” level for the Tournament’s participants. Green level grants access to the Forum’s territory, except for business program zones (blue and red zones).

Pairs of friendly participants will be formed according to the level of the game and common interests in business. The match will be an excellent platform for communication and establishing business contacts. The largest telecommunications company in Russia – Rostelecom corporate Go team will also participate in the businessmen friendly match.
Participation fee: free
For 15 participants from Asia (5 from China, 5 from Japan and 5 from Korea) free accommodation with meal at the FEFU Hotel (standard room, 4 nights: 03-07 of September) are provisioned. For further details send us an email.
Tournament rules: 6 rounds McMahon system tournament, Japanese rules. 60 minutes main time with a canadian byo-yomi 5/15
